1.08 - Disabled Student Peer Mentoring Group
Project Description:
During the 2020-2021 fiscal year, Dr. Nick Winges-Yanez partnered with Dr. Kafer to host a series of three focus groups with 12 disabled students at each event to learn more about what they need and want from a Disability Cultural Center on the UT campus. The goal with this initiative is to lay the groundwork for a thriving and diverse disabled community, one co-created with students through peer mentorship and intellectual engagement.
