Center:
Fiscal Year:
2021
Contact Information:
Project Description:
This career development plan supported three years of research, mentorship, and educational opportunities to prepare for an independent research career. The research component will include a randomized pilot trial of Cell Phone Support, an mHealth intervention to promote medication adherence, delivered either by voice phone calls or text messages with a human adherence facilitator. This study would extend the use of Cell Phone Support to more than one medical condition at the same time, easing the path to widespread implementation for youth with any chronic illness who need adherence support
