Project Description:
CCLC will be hosting the 2021 Indiana Virtual Statewide Transition Conference: Facing the Future Together. This virtual transition conference will be held on July 21-23, 2021. Participants in the conference
will include students and young adults with disabilities and their families, Vocational Rehabilitation professionals, special educators, employment services providers, disability service providers, and others.
The three-day conference will feature keynotes on Personal and Professional Responsibility, College and Career Readiness, and The Power of Inclusion. Breakout rooms will include presentations on: Employment
and Job Supports, Postsecondary Education, Assistive Technologies for Transitioning Students, Pre-Employment Transition Services, Benefits & Asset Development, Collaboration, Planning for the Future, and
much more.
CCLC is requesting funds to provide scholarships to the conference for students and young adults with disabilities and their families. The cost of the conference is $20 per person per day. Funding of $2500 will
allow use to provide 125 daily registrations free of charge to support and encourage the attendance of students and young adults with disabilities and their families.
