Measuring Water-Based Physical Activity of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders
Project Description:
The specific aims of this research are to determine if:
1. Children with ASD maintain moderate-vigorous physical activity during swim lessons
2. 8 weeks of swim lessons improves children's resting heart-rates
3. 8 weeks of swim lessons improves children's BMI
The PI is Lisa Mische Lawson. I am a PhD student under Lisa's mentorship to learn the research process, data management and dissemination of research findings.
