Project Description:
1. Develop and coordinate the Virginia Act Early Team so that interagency collaboration sand shared goal-setting are used to identify CURRENT (during COVID-19) barriers and opportunities to the four key steps of early identification. 2. Engage the Virginia Act Early Team to gather and interpret data identifying current barriers and opportunities in the four key areas of the identification process across various early childhood systems 1. In order to develop, implement and evaluate a comprehensive plan for a high reach, statewide program that addresses identified barriers collected from needs assessments and other evaluation activities, a multi-pronged approach is proposed: I. Develop an implementation plan for a high reach, state level program based on assessment related to COVID-19 impacts on early identification and current knowledge by partners about needs; and II. Conduct three other activities with state Team members (ECHO series, LTSAE material dissemination, resiliency training/mentoring with culturally diverse parents) that reaches early childhood system (parents and professionals) and is focused on family engaged developmental monitoring.  Offer an ECHO series every other week over six months  Review exiting LTSAE materials, including those developed through state Team members, for dissemination through social media platforms and early childhood systems  Engage with the Center for Family Involvement cultural brokers to develop, pilot and implement a culturally sensitive resiliency training/mentoring opportunity for 25 culturally and linguistically diverse families
