Project Description:
To put it simply, Specialized Care for Children provides free care coordination for families of children with special healthcare needs in Illinois. But there are also many other ways to tell the story of who we are as a division of the University of Illinois at Chicago. We are shaped by our 80-year history and by the current news and happenings that take place each day. And more than anything, we are a diverse group of people that includes not just those on our staff, Medical Advisory Board and our Family Advisory Council, but also each and every family we work with across the state of Illinois.
