Project Description:
This Maternal and Child Health Bureau funded secondary data analysis project will investigate the predictors of conjoint developmental screening and monitoring receipt, identify racial and ethnic discrepancies in receipt, develop novel data visualization maps displaying state level disparities in receipt of developmental surveillance, and determine if state level racial and ethnic disparities in developmental screening and monitoring correlate with disparities in ASD rates. The primary data source is the National Survey of Children's Health (2016; 2017; 2018) and will build on the CLD's ongoing work related to parent engaged developmental monitoring and screening and early intervention outcomes.
