UCEDD Grant

Fiscal Year:
2021

Project Description:
Our ambitious workplan, shown on the next page spans six (6) goals, along with their 60 related activities. As our center has evolved, and particularly in the context of Covid, there were some notable shifts. During FY 2021 our Childrens Health Home was discontinued by our clinical arm, the RFK Childrens Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center (CERC), and our Medical-Legal partnership activities did not move forward. On the other hand, our UCEDD was awarded four (4) separate Covid-19 related grants to educate the IDD community, build capacity to access technology, and to provide direct services in the form a of a pop-up clinic. Our UCEDDs productivity is also evident in the heightened number of products. Overall, the number of products increased by 50%-- from 108 in FY 2020 to 154 in FY 2021much of this in the Covid space. Included among these is our UCEDDs inaugural annual report: (link: https://einsteinmed.org/uploadedFiles/Centers/CERC/rfk-ucedd-annual-report.pdf )
