Project Description:
Guam CEDDERS will provide technical support to the Division of Special Education in meeting the individuals with Disabilities Education Act(IDEA) for Guam Part C annual reporting requirements related to the Part C Grant Application, State Performance Plan(SPP)/Annual Performance Report(APR) and State Systemic Improvement Plan(SSIP). Facilitation of planning meetings with Special Education Part C administrators and staff and Part C School Program Consultant(SPC) and staff to review the requirements of the annual SPP/APR and SSIP requirements due to Department of Education (ED) annually. Planning and facilitation of stakeholder input in the development and review of the SPP/APR and SSIP, including input from the designated advisory committee for the Part C programs with the purpose of reviewing all performance data for each SPP/APR Indicator and to gather input to targets and improvement activities; and to review the public report developed and disseminated as a result of the submission of Guam's SPP/APR, to include the SSIP. Analyze and review Guam's IDEA progress data and information for each SPP/APR Indicators, inclusive of the SSIP for determining compliance and performance measures of the Part C Programs. Development and analysis of the implementation of Guam's Part C Improvement Activities identified in the SPP/APR and SSIP for determining how the activities supported meet compliance and performance measures for each Part C SPP/APR(Early Childhood Outcomes(ECO), Transition Clusters) and SSIP (Indicator C11). Consultation on prioritized improvement activities for Part C SPP/APR. Consultation on the technical qualities for the inclusion into the development of Guam's IDEA Part C SPP/APR and SSIP due to OSEP annually. Provide professional development services based on priorities established by the Division of Special Education Part C Programs.
