2020 Arts and Accessibility Program
Project Description:
The National Arts and Disability Center would like to announce that funds are available for the 2020 Arts and Accessibility Grants Program. Since 2000, the California Arts Council (CAC) and the NADC have partnered to provide small but critical grants to artists with disabilities, and to arts organizations seeking to make their programs accessible for all. The purpose of this grants program is to enhance opportunities for participation in the arts by people with disabilities throughout California. Grants for artists are intended to support the advancement of their creative work and careers. Artist grants are for specific projects that contribute directly to their professional goals and development.California-based arts organizations may request support for the hiring or involvement of artists with disabilities in arts events, and/or to increase the attendance and enhance the experience for audiences with disabilities.
