Project Description:
ICI is collaborating with with Maryland's Developmental Disabilities Administration (MD-DDA) leadership, Mid-Atlantic, and University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) to implement positive behavior support in organizations supporting people with disabilities in residential and employment settings. This project is establishing a technical assistance (TA) infrastructure at a statewide level to support local, regional, and statewide training and technical assistance. The TA is already in place to train six organizations supporting adults with IDD and is bringing in a second cohort of up to eight organizations that will start training. An online module introducing positive behavior support will also be created during this fiscal year.
