Project Description:
People On The Go Maryland is a self-advocacy group of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who use their voices to be heard and recognized. People On The Go believes all people should be active participants in their communities and strives to eliminate discrimination. People On the Go promotes inclusion and self-advocacy, meets regularly with other advocates to discuss issues, educates people about disability and trains others how to speak up, and promotes disability interests in state and federal law through legislative and policy leadership.
