Project Description:
The Developmental Medicine Conference Series, in collaboration with the Vanderbilt School of Medicine, Dept. of Pediatrics, Division of Developmental Medicine, provides faculty and other interested persons an opportunity to obtain up-to-date information about developmental pediatrics. The series aims to give health care professionals current information in the field of neurodevelopmental disabilities. The series provides an opportunity for clinical presentations and interdisciplinary discussions regarding family centered care. As a result of these sessions, participants will have an expanded knowledge base regarding challenges faced by children with developmental disabilities and their families, and appropriately, empirically based responses.
