Project Description:
Mutli-sector initiative in Southern Arizona to reduce the stigma for youth experiencing mental health issues and to increase help seeking behavior by these youth. UCED Former Director, Leslie Cohen, serves on Steering Committee of the project and supervises the Project Director and Policy and Advocacy Task Force. Initiative goals include to create a strong and sustainable community alliance for youth mental health, build the capacity of our schools and provider system to address youth mental health, educate all sectors of the community on the importance of addressing youth mental health issues, and advocate to policies to increase education, information and services.
