Project Description:
Develops an education and technical assistance program for general education teachers in ten schools (five middle schools and five high schools) in Wisconsin, providing them with strategies to support student self-determination. This project takes the self-determination knowledge that ICI has gained through 15 years of working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and applies that experience to younger people to support their transition from school to work and inclusive community living. The University of Wisconsin-River Falls is the lead institution on this project.
