Project Description:
The purpose of the SISEP Summative Evaluation is to assess the impact of the SISEP work to support the implementation of Evidence Based Practices (EBP) in schools for students with disabilities. This evaluation includes both quantitative and qualitative measures of process and outcomes. These data will be collected in six targeted states and include information from regions in states, at least 18 school districts and iThe purpose of the SISEP External Evaluation is to assess the impact of the work of the SISEP Center to support the implementation of Evidence Based Practices (EBP) in schools for students with disabilities. This Evaluation will consist of a number of components. (1) Formative and Summative Review of project activities to accomplish project objectives; (2) Review of data summaries (measured at the school, district, region, and state levels) of the implementation of EBP; (3) Review of student improvement on targeted outcomes; (4) Assessment of the knowledge development of implementation science, and the usefulness and effectiveness of SISEP assistance to recipients; (5) Assessment of fidelity of implementation of EBP in states; (6) Review of costs reported by states and districts to implement EBP, (7) Assessment of associated changes in states, as a result of implementation of EBP in state policy, funding and human resource deployment; (8) Consultative analysis and evaluation of progress and impact.
