City - Oral History Project
Project Description:
The Institute on Disabilities is currently working on an Oral History project, partially funded by the State Office of Developmental Programs which is endeavoring to conduct interviews with at least 50 Pennsylvanians who have contributed significantly to the history of intellectual disability in PA. Through this deliverable, additional interviews (a minimum of 4) will be conducted regarding people who have made significant contributions to the history of intellectual disability in Philadelphia. The interviews will be included on the Visionary Voices website in a section entitled, The Philadelphia Collection. Additional interviews will be conducted and the development of a touring version of the play A Fierce Kind of Love will begin this year.
