Project Description:
As the NYS Ambassador (Dr. Lisa Shulman), this project signifies the importance of early detection and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. The purpose of this public health campaign is to expand the current knowledge and information base of autism within the general public, community providers and organizations. As part of a nationwide campaign to identify as early as possible babies, toddlers and youth at risk or showing signs of Autism, this project focuses on information and education about knowing the early sign of autism to those living in the State of New York.
