Project Description:
The Family Resource Network of Ohio (FRNO) is a collaborative approach of the Nisonger Center and UCCEDD to supporting families of children with disabilities and special healthcare needs in Ohio. The mission n of FRNO is Helping families support families of individuals with developmental disabilities by providing resources, tools, and trainings to achieve an informed and engaged life, contributing to ones family, community, and society in order to live, love, work, play, and pursue the good life. Family Resource Network of Ohio believes that, together, we can achieve great things. FRNO is a web-based resources for families to find services and support. In addition, FRNO staff provide training session on a variety of topics, such as planning for the future and advocacy. FRNO staff is also involved in working on the state level to engage families in Communities of Practice to ensure families receive the supports they need.
