Building the Capacity of CDFIs to Service Individuals with Disabilities

Project Description:

The goal of this project is to increase the number of CDFIs serving individuals with disabilities as well as increase access to capital and the availability of other critical resources for individuals with disabilities.The project will identify and address the needs and challenges of individuals with disabilities related to accessing capital and other critical resources that support health and community living. The training and TA will provide participating CDFIs with the tools necessary to develop new or enhance existing financial products, financial services, and/or development services that address the identified, unique needs and challenges of individuals with disabilities including, but not limited to, asset development; affordable, accessible, and safe housing; employment opportunities; and access to assistive products and services.
