Alternatives to Guardianship Evaluation Project

Project Description:
Survey Development: Staff will design survey and solicit feedback from the funder. Survey will incorporate feedback from funders. Survey will be piloted and revised as needed. Survey Implementation: Complete survey, submit and obtain approval from Indiana Universitys Internal Review Board. Recruitment will occur in multiple ways, and in partnership with funders. Recruitment targeted to professional guardians and family caregiver guardians. A subcontractor (Qualtrics) will be used to assist with recruitment of family caregiver guardians. Data collection will utilize an online survey mechanism. Survey Analytics: The research team will clean data and conduct statistical analyses. Survey Report: Preliminary results will be shared via a presentation May 9, 2019. Draft report will be submitted to funders for feedback in June. Final report will be to the funder June 30, 2019.
