        Project Description:
The Munroe Meyer Institute (MMI) and the Omaha Public Schools (OPS) have maintained a contractual arrangement for the provision of all occupational therapy services, including supervision of such services, for the District's eligible students since 2000. MMI has contracted to provide educational OT & PT services to eligible students in the District since 1984.
OPS provides occupational therapy services to approximately 1,000 students during a school year. The occupational therapy services are provided to each student through an Individual Education Plan/Individual Family Service Plan (IEP/IFSP) meeting process, and range from semi-annual observation and reporting to one hour per week of direct therapy. The services are provided in family homes, in the community and schools throughout the district.
