Project Description:

The SC UCEDD has agreed to provide technical assistance and direct service to the SC Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (ID/DD agency) to implement the Supports Intensity Scale (SIS). UCEDD staff will be trained to reliability by AAIDD staff and then implement the SIS (conduct assessments) for people receiving services from the SC DDSN. The assessment results will be used by the SC DDSN to plan needed supports for individuals with ID/DD to succeed in community settings.
