ECHFS-Early Childhood Infrastructure Project
Project Description:
This program develops and delivers a comprehensive infrastructure to promote the use of evidence-based practice and build skills for targeted early childhood direct service providers in New Mexico. This includes activities including training, technical assistance, consultation and professional engagement. The goals of the program are to (a) ensure that assessments of infants served are conducted in a developmentally and trauma informed manner based on established evidence-informed models; (b) Early Childhood providers use a uniformed/standard process to implement programs and clinical practices that is evidence-based and best practice informed; and (c) ensure that all practice standards outlined in service manuals and guides of the state Children. Youth and Families Department (CYFD) are implemented.
