Project Description:

Learning and Engaging in All Primary Schools-Phase II Project (LEAPS-II). Inclusion project in Savannakhet Province, Laos. University of Oregon. Co-Principle Investigator. This project is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and is a partnership between Catholic Relief Services, Laos PDR Ministry of Education and Sports of Education and Sports, and University of Oregon. The project is focused on implementing inclusive education practices in Laos. Activities in this project are conducting a needs assessment of education personnel, developing a long term action plan for the Laos Ministry of Education, and delivering training following a train the trainers model. Four-year contract valued at $726,000.
