Modified Incredible Years
Project Description:
There is growing consensus in the literature which suggests the importance of comprehensive intervention for young children with developmental disabilities and co-occurring behavioral problems. The Incredible Years training program is a series of programs focused on providing effective parenting tools to decrease poor and disruptive behaviors. Traditionally, the intervention has been applied to children without developmental disabilities. This treatment modality is considered a gold standard in decreasing behavioral/ aggressive and oppositional behavior. The current study will analyze retrospective data obtained from 5 families based on the exit interview and satisfaction survey to understand parents perceptions of the group and knowledge obtained from the group
