Craniofacial Psychosocial Concerns
Project Description:
Patients born with craniofacial differences have well-established psychosocial concerns which are screened for and addressed as part of the standard of care for Craniofacial Teams outlined by the American Craniofacial-Cleft Palate Association (ACPA). A retrospective chart review of patients in the CHLA Craniofacial Team would significantly contribute to the literature in several aspects. All patients ages birth to age 22 of all diagnoses seen in Craniofacial Team would be included in the review. The analyses would include descriptions of the demographics, medical diagnoses, and the range of identified concerns and related recommendations. Patterns of results based on demographics and/or medical diagnoses would be described as well.
