Project Description:
Projects under the Exploration goal must result in a conceptual framework based on analysis of primary or secondary data that identifies (a) the relationship between a malleable factor and a student education outcome, (b) factors that mediate or moderate this relationship, or (c) both a relationship and the factors that mediate or moderate. We will engage in primary data collection to address area (c), identifying both the relationship between a malleable factorin our case, educational placementand student outcomes, as well as the factors that mediate or moderate these relationships at the student, classroom, and school/district level by carefully testing and exploring models and identifying those factors that are most predictive of outcomes.
