Project Description:
The goals of this project are to (1) conduct research to identify practices to improve academic, social-behavioral, and postsecondary outcomes for students with intellectual, developmental (ID/DD), and other disabilities, (2) Conduct research to identify factors associated with positive education and transition outcomes for students withID/DD and other disabilities. This activity will be accomplished through external -funded projects from the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services and Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities, and (3) Disseminate research findings to research, policy, and practitioner audiences through publications and presentations. This goal will be accomplished through externally funded grants and through analyses of existing datasets. Research teams are comprised of faculty and doctoral students from special education, school psychology, counseling psychology, and research methods.
