Project Description:
The proposed study will explore the differential impact of two types of educational placements on academic, social/communication, and behavioral outcomes of students with IDD by engaging in primary data collection. The scope of work is twofold, in which the first six months will be to transform two existing paper instruments used previously to evaluate classroom and ecobehavioral factors (Kurth et al., 2016; Morningstar et al., 2016) into an existing online instrument used within academic content classrooms (Kennedy, Rodgers, Romig, Lloyd, & Brownell, 2016). Recruitment will also occur during the first six months of the project, with outreach to schools and districts with which we have established relationships. Data collection and analysis will occur during the final six months of the project.
