Project Description:

The Heartland Genetics Regional Collaborative out of the Universities of Arkansas and Oklahoma (co-P.I.s: Brad Schaefer and Klaus Wierenga.) Lori Williamson Dean is the project manager [email protected].) The Nebraska UCEDDD's role is to engage in specific projects in support of their Advocate Work Group. These include assisting the Workgroup chairs in logistics, supporting HGRC collaboration with regional LEND programs, assist with regional surveys, and initiate targeted outreach to youth with genetic conditions to see if they would participate in Heartland activities.
