Project Description:
This is a new project funded by the recent "Arc Tank" competition which proposes to develop a training/internship program for recent college graduates who are planning to attend graduate medical education. The program will provide a 'gap' year in which participants ("scholars") work in area agencies and schools with transition-age youth with ASD and complete academic certificate programs. The aim is to equip future physicians/health care professionals with knowledge and skills to meet the needs of individuals with ASD and other DDs.
