Project Description:
The Debbie School Little Explorers Summer Program provide quality services for sixty-six (66) young children with disabilities from birth to five years of age and their families in an inclusive environment where children of all backgrounds have the opportunity to learn and grow together. Designed for children with or without special needs and from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds and ethnicities, the program aims to enhance children's cognitive, socioemotional, and physical development, imparting skills that help children succeed in school and be more productive and responsible throughout their lives. The Literacy Express is a preschool curriculum that is designed to promote childrens emergent literacy skills. The curriculum is structured around thematic units that are sequenced in order of complexity. Both curricula promotes creative and fun daily activities that include circle time, learning, art, music, and play.
