Project Description:

The MCDD will use the Apricot software system (Social Solutions Global in Baltimore) to create a customizable and flexible online grants management system that will reduce the need to use paper proposals, enter data, and follow up on missing information. The system will accommodate multi-stage application information from prospective grantees and allow grantees to upload files including complex budget forms, a portfolio of work, audits, etc. Automatic email notifications to staff and applicants (at any appropriate stage of the process) can decrease administrative interface time and resources. The online system will also help manage the process of reviewing applications and deciding what to fund.
