Project Description:
Project Context The Center for Technical Assistance for Excellence in Special Education (TAESE) is the technical assistance division of the Center for Persons with Disabilities at the Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services at Utah State University. TAESE provides a variety of services such as event planning, training, and education-focused consultation. Project Focus TAESE will provide technical assistance to the Utah State Office of Education in addressing the requirements of IDEA indicators and other special education requirements. This TA includes orienting their State Special Education Advisory Panel, providing assistance with their State Performance Plan (SPP) and Accountability Progress Report (APR), organizing a Special Education Law Conference and Math Conference, and providing professional development for dispute resolution specialists and jobs alike workgroups.
