Project Description:
This is a program development and evaluation project of the Russellville School District (RSD). The goals of the project are: 1) to improve the safety of schools, 2) to reduce alcohol and drug use by students and school violence, 3) to improve access to mental health services for students, 4) to increase the capacity of Russellville early childhood programs to provide effective prevention and early intervention programs to families of preschool-age children, 5) to promote educational reform, and 6) to improve the policies and procedures related to discipline and behavior. Activities will include new curriculum for RSD students, parent education and parent meetings, family case management, and training for professionals.
