Project Description:
1. Need Underserved individuals, family members and medical professionals in smaller and rural areas in the state of Texas will be provided education and resources for people with genetic disorders. 2. Overall goals and objectives Promote public education regarding Genetic-based disorders throughout the State of Texas through community seminars and educational webinars. Seminars and webinars will provide information on family support and recent advances in health care, education and research. 3. Unusual features: Multiple disciplines are involved. 4. Expected benefits Families and medical professionals will have access to resources and information not usually readily available to them.
