Project Description:
The second Research to Practice series consists of daylong seminars in which nationally recognized researchers present the latest findings from their work and describe applications to practice. The 2003-2004 series focused on Literacy and Students with Significant Disabilities. The presenters included: Elizabeth Sulzby, University of Michigan Douglas Biklen, Syracuse University Douglas Fisher, San Diego State University Gretchen Hanser, University of New Hampshire Leigh Zoellick, University of New Hampshire Ruth Wharton-Macdonald, University of New Hampshire Karen Erickson, University of North Carolina David Koppenhaver, Gustavus Adolphus University 233 individuals participated in one of the workshops in the series and evaluations consistely rated them "very good" to "excellent."
