Project Description:
The Transition Program encompasses those activities in the clinical settings of IDD alongside several UCEDD-sponsored activities, including Emerging LEaders NorthWest (ELNW), Dream It-Do It Academy, and others. The needs of youth with disabilities to improve transition to adulthood is self-evident. The goals of this program is to help youth toward self-advocacy and autonomous functioning. The benefits are that more youth will be enabled toward independence.
