UA-MDS-Care Considerations
Project Description:
The purpose of this project is to systematically evaluate agreement between the treatments and services currently provided to people who have Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) and the recommendations documented in the DMD Care Considerations. The evaluation will focus on a limited geographic area but the design and results of the study should apply to other geographic areas. The goals are to survey physicians on their delivery of services and treatments to individuals with DBMD, use surveillance data collection to determine actual services and treatments received, and prepare an analysis that looks at agreement between published care considerations and actual recommendations and receipt of services.
