UA - Congenital Heart Surveillance To Recognize Outcomes, Needs, and well-beinG
Project Description:
The Arizona CHSTRONG project aims to provide a complete understanding of the social and quality of life issues facing adults with CHD, especially in minority and underserved populations. The Arizona population can provide meaningful findings stratified by race as only 56% of our identified CHD population is non-Hispanic white. Population-based surveillance for CHDs across the lifespan is also necessary to determine the type and number of services required to address needs, estimate costs of health services, and assess outcomes that affect the survival of individuals living with CHDs.
