Military Child Care Liaison Initiative
Project Description:
This service agreement establishes a representative for the Military Child Care Liaison (MCCL) Initiative in the state of Kentucky. This project focuses on increasing the capacity of off-installation quality care for military families. This involves coordination of efforts between state officials, Defense State Liaison Offices, Joint Family Support Assistance Program teams and various community early childhood partners. The MCCL works to provide technical or subject matter expertise related to quality early childhood services and works with organizations to achieve the most effective utilization of resources without duplication of services. Expanding high quality early care and education opportunities for the target population also increases access to quality care for all children.
