Project Description:
Project Context The Center for Technical Assistance for Excellence in Special Education (TAESE) is the technical assistance division of the Center for Persons with Disabilities at the Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services at Utah State University. Project Focus TAESE will provide technical assistance for the South Dakota Department of Ed, Special Education Unit via a webinar training on the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). The training will include a discussion o the definition of "educational record" and the expectations for handling educational records under FERPA.
