The Diversity Fellowship is a 1-year fellowship to impart knowledge on the field of disabilities to a graduate/post-graduate student with a background of working with diverse populations. The Diversity Fellow has served as a cultural broker to make numerous connections to organizations who serve underserved populations in our community. UCEDDs Diversity Fellow has also assessed faculty/staff on cultural competence and provided learning opportunities to improve competence. The fellowship will conclude with dissemination of lessons learned from a capstone project on disparities among individuals with disabilities from minority backgrounds.
