Edit the Evelyn Deno Anthology on the of the 1957 Minnesota Law Requiring Special Education
Project Description:
Continuing to edit, format and organize stories into an anthology for publication. These 80 stories were collected by Dr. Evelyn Deno (1911 - 2005) from people involved in creating the 1957 Minnesota law requiring the state's public schools to provide special education for children with disabilities - a first in the nation. Deno was at the University of Minnesota from 1967 to her retirement, where she became director of the Psychoeducational Clinic.
