Project Description:
The UCEDD will be providing technical assistance to the CT Department of Children and Families from September 1, 2013 through August 31, 2014. Services include modeling and providing supervised practice for ecological assessment, records review, student interview strategies, observation of social-emotional and other behaviors in natural settings and other data collection activities necessary to develop a trauma informed functional behavior assessment (FBA). The Center will also: provide feedback to participants' on data collection activities in vivo; mentor participants in writing FBAs and behavior intervention plans (BIPs); mentor, provide supervised practice in presenting FBAs and BIPs to interdisciplinary teams for review and consensus to treatment; mentor participants in implementing FBAs and BIPs with fidelity and facilitate problem solving.
