Behavioral Treatment through In-Home Telehealth for Young Children w/Autism
Project Description:
Health Resources and Services Administration - MCHB. The major goal of this project is to complete a randomized controlled trial to test whether functional analysis and functional communication training, delivered through in-home telehealth, are effective in reducing disruptive behavior and increasing social communication in young children with autism spectrum disorders. In addition, family strengths and stresses are being assessed to define the types of supportive services needed to ensure successful outcomes.
