Scope of Work A. Provide professional development in the area of evidence based practices in ASD for New Mexico's school districts by providing: i. A four day summer institute to be presented for directors, principals, teachers and other classroom teams; ii. Training to teams is to occur on effective instructional methodologies for students with ASD and implementationj in instructional settings; iii. Two to three classrooms will be identified to establish model sites; iv. Preparations for the summer institute is to begin in January of 2011. B. Provide monthly conference calls and technical assistance visits to classrooms identified as model sites to provide further technical assistance on: C. Provide online course for School District personnel in Evidenced based classroom procedures. D. The Autism Programs will evaluate training, meetings and follow ups to check on progress of teams and their satisfaction with the program.
