Project Description:
This is a capacity building project with the purpose of enhancing the skill of providers in developing and implementing services, increasing opportunities for sharing information, relationship-building among Infant Teams, and assure quality of services delivered. The goal is to support the development of a community of practice among all providers in the state of New Mexico currently funded to create and implement Infant Teams in their local communities. Objective are to create opportunities for providers to come together regularly to inform and enhance their work in support of very young children taken into state custody due to substantiated allegations of abuse and neglect.
