Project Description:
University funds support the work of the Center for Persons with Disabilities in several ways. First, these provide the match required to secure external funding for research, education, services, and dissemination projects. As much of this work is conducted through the Center's Divisions, each shares a portion of these funds. Secondly, University funds support central administrative functions that assist all programs. Among administrative functions necessary to carry out the Center's work are computer networking, hardware and software consultation, media development, information dissemination, business management, accounting and purchasing services, assistance in compliance with university policies and reporting requirements, and assistance to individuals with disabilities and families. These functions are intended to improve the efficiency of the Center's programs and projects by supporting the necessary administrative operations. In addition, monthly dissemination of an electronic newsletter, the "NewsFlash" is supported through this project.
